Privacy policy

Murphree is a private website for invited family members only.

Members sign in with Google. If a member allows it, the site requests read-only access to that member’s own Gmail and uses it only to summarize their unread email for them. It does not send, delete, or change messages, and it does not read a mailbox the member did not connect.

Email data and the tokens that keep a connection working are stored privately. They are never sold or shared with other people, advertisers, or anyone else for their own use. Unread mail is used only to write that member’s own summary, and it is sent only to the service that writes the summary.

A member can disconnect anytime from Settings, or by removing this site’s access at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Murphree’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
